How to find Keywords and Hashtags for Aesthetic Practitioners
If your home is anything like mine, as soon as you come through the front door you’re already being put through a production line of feed me, play with me and read to me!
.
So Finding the time to do keyword research has to be quick and accurate, so I can still pull off dinner that is edible.
.
Digital marketers will more than likely be using a software like @sproutsocial, @moz or even @google keyword planner.
.
Saving 💰and ⏰is the name of my game, so here are a few short cuts you can take and still get the same results:
.
1️⃣Use your treatments; listen to what your clients call them and make sure you are using the same language.
.
2️⃣Download Keywords Everywhere, it’s a chrome extension that tells you everything you need to know about the keyword.
.
3️⃣Volume, just like #lips volume matters, try and use keywords that have a volume of over 200 as this is an indicator of popularity.
.
You can also apply this method to finding hashtags on Instagram that you can also use across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Hashtags act as social keywords that allow a wider audience outside of your network to discover your content.
.
Don’t believe me, here are some stats from @socialbakers for you: Posts with 1 or 2 hashtags averaged 593 interactionsPosts with 3 to 5 hashtags averaged 416 interactionsPosts with 6 to 10 hashtags averaged 307 interactionsPosts with more than 10 hashtags averaged 188 interactions.
.
1️⃣Write down 25 hashtags that are relevant to your audience.
.
2️⃣Use 5 per post
.
3️⃣Check the explorer page for each post to see where your post ranked.
.
By doing this you can start to narrow down what hashtags get your post in front of your clients.
